Blog 24: Ducks and Dresses

Sorry it's been a little while since I've updated the blog, I haven't forgot you all but to be honest not too much has been going on. As far as our current status goes, no news is NOT good news. This waiting around to find out where the wind will take us has become progressively harder, especially without Eddie around. I keep reminding myself its 'a leap of faith', but the leap feels like we've been in free fall for months. It's becoming more of a reality of how much needs to be done (did I mention our house as yet to be appraised just to be put on the market?), yet with no destination nothing is achievable.
I guess you could say were like little ducks-
on the surface we appear calm and collected
when underwater were kicking just to stay afloat.

Back at the home front; my girl Paige Ashleigh has her senior prom this evening. I can hardly believe my little sister is a senior in high school and going to Clemson with Kristen next year! Here's a few shots from the afternoon via my iPhone-

That's all for now folks, as I am guessing that the next two weeks might be pretty slow as far as the blog is concerned. After Ed gets back from Seattle things should really pick up speed, and I'll continue to take you all along with us for the wild and crazy ride!  Enjoy the rest of this beautiful weekend and tune into MLB channels showing the Mariners/ Athletics game; Ed and Matt are at the game, I'm so jelly!
