So I did it, I dropped Eddie off at the airport this morning. I considered flexing my 'fashionable late' muscles to keep him in Greenville a few more hours to myself, but the early morning hours and rush to work kept me from delaying him like I would of wished.
I wanted to capture Ed and his luggage, and I have to admit he's such a good sport to put up with me. Anyway for those who know Eddie you can only image the struggles we endured to pack him up for three weeks into ONLY three bags (yep- he's gonna kill me for this post, haha). The photo appears rather conservative but the scales don't lie at just under two hundred pounds! Bless his heart, he made my morning when he figured out he had to wear his running shoes to Washington due to he forgot to pack them last night and really had no room in any of his suitcases to include them.
So you wonder what on earth could of possibly happened here?! Yep, I wondered the exact same thing when I got home this afternoon from work- then I remembered 'Oh yeah, we barely unpacked from our weekend in Charleston to pack Eddie up for three weeks; Aka Hurricane Ed-ther'. The crazy thing is I'm not affected by the chaos because I feel like it's to be the new normal, and these next three weeks (for me at least) will be the calm before the storm.
This in contrast was Eddie's view this afternoon, I bit different from mine I'd say. The good news is he did indeed land safely in Seattle, Washington this afternoon and picked up the Michelin rental car of choice; the mini van.
