Greenville to Memphis

Good monday morning all!! Sorry it's been some time since I've blogged, we've been super crazy! So I thought I'd give a quick morning update on our current whereabouts. Last week was really a blur as I worked all week and Ed wrapped up with his training and had Michelin Sales Graduation (I'll post the trophy when I get back home)! He got all his office supplies to set up his new office as well as a new company car. The good news is he got a brand new car, the bad news- we are currently having to drive it out to Oklahoma City because he's going to need it before the movers come.

So after wrapping up as many things in Greenville as possible last week (house is STILL not on the market yet- the relocation process is ridiculous), we left yesterday morning for the half way point to Oklahoma City, Memphis Tennessee. We drove a total of nine hours yesterday driving through South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee. The ride really wasn't that bad until we hit a very morning stretch in Alabama that had essential no food or stops for miles.

Fast forward to now, I'm waiting for Ed to get up and get pack up again for another fun filled day in the "Recreational Active Vehicle IV"- maybe better known to everyone else as the Rav4. haha Below is a photo from the view in our hotel this morning, the church in the distance looks so beautiful from up here.

Our trip today, Oklahoma City or bust!

ps- I just wanted to note that I don't think last week would of came out nearly as smooth without the immense help from my sister Kristen! She's been staying with me and helping me with everything  since she got out of school for the summer and is now house sitting/ keeping Behr for Ed and I- LOVE YOU KDM!

  1. Soooo question: Why the hell didn't Michelin just give Ed the car in OKC? Wouldn't that make more sense?

  2. Yeah but they just recieve all the company cars at Michelin north america (greenville) and everyone but the guy going to Portland had to drive em out and report to work as soon as today. Ed meets with his new boss wednesday, and we're meeting the realtor tomorrow morning.
