Top 10 Reasons Not To Do Yoga

For those whom have never tried yoga, I would suggest for everyone to give it a try- to say the least I'm addicted and found this article by the Huffington Post. Enjoy.

TOP 10 REASONS NOT TO DO YOGA

1) You enjoy looking 9 years older than you are.
After all, Joan Crawford is super hot--so bring on the crow's feet!

2) You embrace those heavy metal toxins building
up in your body as a badass homage to your
 Kiss concert days. Rock on!

3) Your marathon time is just fine the way it is.
No need for more speed.

4) You firmly believe that the junk
in your trunk needs more company.

Blog 18: Field Training

Good Sunday evening everyone! Sorry it's been a little while but been crazy with work and Kristen staying with me and the furry babies for spring break!

The newest news about Ed and his outside sales training is that he found out this week were he's headed for his field training for three weeks in april (*not where we're to move to!). Various locations Ed's classmates headed "are as follows" Pittsburg, Greensboro, Phoenix, Austin, Little Rock, as Eddie (and a training buddy Matt) is headed to Seattle, Washington. As expected I'm again "green with envy" and he's already looking into tickets to some Mariner's home games.  I attached his itinerary for those who might wanna keep up with "where in the world is Eddie", as I'm already ready for him to get back.

Ed's itinerary, leave GSP 4/9

Blog 17: Spring has sprung

Yesterday was the first day of spring,
and today really felt like it!

"And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud
was greater than the risk it took to bloom." -Anais Nin

New blooms in the backyard!

Blog 16: It's all about family

GOOD  SUNDAY  EVENING  ALL!
Been super busy and haven't updated
the  blog  in  a  while  so
here's a few photos from the weekend.

CLEMSON:
Thursday/friday I went to Clemson to visit Kristen.
We had a great afternoon shopping and had a blast at Mellow Mushroom's
trivia night although we hardly got any of the questions right!
Annnnnnd tried to go back to her apartment after to discover
that I had left her keys and indirectly locked us out. Is anyone surprised? haha

Blog 15: Stress is trash

Finally "put my money where my mouth is" and joined Southernom hot yoga studio.
This morning was my very first class and to say the least it was amazing!

What's hot yoga you say... well it's like it sounds, hot. At first the room seems a little too warm for comfort as when you settled in it's just short of amazing. Meditation, stretching, and (a whole lot of) sweating is really the best way to start the morning. After yoga and my morning iced coffee I feel like I can do anything today, and most definitively would suggest it to anyone!

we all generate it but if you don't dispose of it properly,
it will pile up and overtake your life."

Blog 14: He's not perfect

"He's not perfect. You aren't either, and
the two of you will never be perfect. But
if he can make you laugh at least once,
causes you to think twice, and if he
admits to being human and making
mistakes, hold on to him and give him the
most you can. He isn't going to quote
poetry, he's not thinking about you every
moment, but he will give you a part of
him that he knows you could break. Don't
hurt him, don't change him, and don't
expect more than he can give. Don't
analyze. Smile when he makes you happy,
yell when he makes you mad, and miss him
when he's not there. Love hard when
there is love to be had, because perfect
guys don't exist, but there's always one
guy that is perfect for you."
-Bob Marley

Today marks the sixth year Eddie has been in my life. Since the very beginning Eddie has not only taught me so much about myself but he continues to grow with me to make me a better person, and I honestly couldn't imagine my life without him. He's my best friend and truly the love of my life, and I would do anything for him. I think it's easy to take life as well as any loved one for granted, but I thank God daily that he put him in my life. Even on a bad day I feel like the luckiest girl in the world.

March fourteenth also happens to be Pi Day,
so for you non-math geeks- go have yourself a piece of pie.

Blog 13: Congratulations

For those who didn't already know I grew up a North Carolina State fan, now a Clemson fan (Kristen is there and Paige is going next year!), dating a DIE HARD Florida State fan, and I have to say I've always been a anybody-but-UNC fan! So with that said I have to say...

Blog 12: Daylight losing time

Well it's that time a year that reminds me how awesome "fall back" is. Thought I'd share this f.f. or fun fact I found about day light saving time;

While in Paris in 1784, Benjamin Franklin sarcastically
noted in a letter that nature isn't accommodating
to our modern schedules. Franklin understood
the financial benefits of early daylight in the summer,
provided we all still got to sleep in.

As well as Hawaii and Arizona don't part take in the "changing of the clocks". Hope everyone's having a great weekend as tonight Ed and I got to grab dinner with our Asheville, NC friends Laura and Kevin, and see Ed's old buddy David! No new news on the moving side of things as I'll update as we hear anything! Don't forget to change those clocks!!!
-Heather

Blog 11: Getting into rhythm

Coming up on finishing two weeks of this crazy training/ transition period, I think we're finally into the swing of things- but that doesn't mean it's any easier than we imagined. For one Ed has a test almost every other day and I couldn't be more proud of him with a 101 average! I know if it were me I'd thank everyone's prayers for the high test scores but Ed's really been working his butt off... Which means I've seen him for maybe thirty minutes all week. Meanwhile I've been sicker than I every could remember as I have learned through my own stuburness not to eat day old sushi no matter what. Clearly not the brightest move ive made but yet has made a lasting effect on my theory of take home boxes, and dealing with it's aftermath mostly by myself (thank God my parents live down the road!).

Highlight of today was hanging out with my girl (younger sister) paige! We actually got to hangout in what has felt like forever. Chipotle was amaze as usual and we stopped by Ed's hotel room, and then continued to the house to hangout with the pups and watch 50/50 (sweet movie).

...and she introduced me to the app Draw Somthing, you guys gotta try it!

I'm exhausted and almost back to feeling all better so going out on a limb and no proof reading tonight, I know ill regret in tomorrow. haha Have a great evening and play Draw Something with me!

Blog 10: Words of Inspiration

Today's words of inspiration that I'm sure everyone could use;
Ghandi's top 10 fundamentals.
Even put this on my fridge to remind myself during my morning coffee,
a great way to start every morning off right.

Hope everyone is having a great week,
it's been rather crazy for me as it is a full moon!

and last but not least...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMANDA KNIGHT!!
Hope you have a fabulous day and wish I could be there!
Promises to come see you ASAP

Blog 9: One hundred and Two

Studying, that's the name of the game.

Spent last night after work helping Eddie prepare for his first of ten test and enjoying some amazing sushi (and Yogurt Mountain of course). I'm glad to report Eddie did MORE than amazing and even grabbed the extra two points. I'm sure he did amazing due to ice cream, and of course hard work! haha, I'm so proud of 'em!  I believe the next test is wednesday so back to the books!

Working sunday and having off monday is really throwing me off,
so hope monday was good to everyone.
One week officially down, nine to go!

Love always, Eddie & Heather

Blog 8: Obsessed with Ikat

I know too much of anything is bad, but I can officially say I'm obsessed with color and pattern. Moreover my current pattern of choice is Ikat. Hope Ed can live with it because the new house will have pleantly of it! Here's a few items that I've been drooling over... yep, I might need some therapy.

Blog 7: Denver Update

Just a few pictures Ed took on his trip, and I thought everyone might want to see!

Happy Birthday Mr. Leo!!! (Ed's Dad)

Blog 6: tgif

Happy Friday!
Hope everyone's having a fabulous week as Ed's spending his evening traveling back from training at one my favorite places ever Denver, Colorado. Part of his training is shadowing another sales representative for a few days to really get the feel for what he's about to start doing.

I've been super crazy with work and in the last three days i've only been home to let the dogs out and  sleep! I've talked to Ed maybe three times since wednesday morning and told him to take some pictures so i'll update everyone tomorrow with any developments!
